FUNCTION: Digital Business Solutions
LOCATION: Dubai
ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES
This role is part of Digital Business Solutions team
The role is responsible for Focusing on unifying consumer data and help the marketing team grow the regional consumer base. Conceive and roll out digital solutions to boost consumer retention. Increase E-Commerce contribution to the regional business. Engage with the head of functions in your department to land new innovations (Proof Of Concepts, Co-Labs, Engagement with Startups). Engage heavily with global tech firms and social networks to boost BAT’s digital footprint (Google, Facebook, TikTok)
Reports to: Area Head of Digital Business Solutions Middle East South Asia
Reporting Level: Senior Level
Geographic Scope: Middle East, North Africa and South Asia

- Live with the marketing team to gain detailed understanding of the Jobs To Be Done
- Work and align with regional and global teams in BAT to learn and replicate best practices and success stories in your region
- Drive the transformation roadmap for region (Budgeting, project management, delivery).
- Focus on developing, integrating, and simplifying the region’s digital ecosystem (E-Com, CRM, CDP, API Layer)
- Drive the D2C, Pure Play, and Bricks & Clicks E-Commerce channels
- Insurance data privacy compliance across the region

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- Overall 7+ years of proven experience within the FMCG, E-commerce and Digital industry along with a Bachelor’s degree.
- Upbeat, self-motivated, highly adaptable, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience and knowledge on consumer behaviour, diverse product taxonomy and a foundation in ecommerce
- Capable of multitasking and working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Adept and comfortable working with large data sets and skilled at translating data analyses into measurable business opportunities.
- Quick learner, teammate and solution oriented.
